A shipping aggregator gives a small seller one account, one wallet and one set of rates across many couriers. The useful question is not which aggregator is best in general, but which ones your online store can actually talk to — so that the buyer sees a real delivery charge and date at checkout, and you book the courier without copying addresses around.
Which delivery partners can a Storzu store connect?
On Storzu, every partner connects with your own account. Your rates, wallet, pickup addresses and COD remittances stay with the partner; Storzu only relays orders, prices and tracking.
| Partner | Delivers by | How you connect | Tracking updates |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shiprocket | Couriers across India, plus Shiprocket Quick riders for nearby orders | An API user created in Shiprocket (email + password) | Paste Storzu's webhook into Shiprocket for instant updates; otherwise checked every hour |
| NimbusPost | Couriers across India — Delhivery, Xpressbees, Ekart, Shadowfax and more | An API key with the Admin role (key ID + secret) | Switched on automatically — nothing to paste |
| Borzo | Same-day bike, 3-wheeler and tempo riders in 23 cities | The API token and Callback Secret Key from your Borzo business account | Paste Storzu's callback URL into Borzo; otherwise checked every hour |
| Any other courier | India Post, DTDC, a local courier, your own delivery | Nothing to connect | Add the courier and AWB or tracking link when you mark the order Shipped |
What happens at checkout when more than one partner is connected?
- The PIN code is checked first. Before the order is placed, the buyer learns whether you deliver there and roughly when.
- The cheaper partner prices the delivery. With Shiprocket and NimbusPost both connected, each order is priced on whichever courier is cheaper for that PIN code, parcel weight and payment type. The delivery date shown is that courier's.
- COD only where cash is collected. A cash-on-delivery order is priced only on a partner that collects cash for that PIN, and you can stop orders to addresses no partner serves.
- You choose how buyers pay for delivery. Charge the partner's live rate (with an optional add-on for packing) or keep your flat delivery charges. Your "free delivery above" amount and free-delivery offers apply either way.
Speed is your choice too, never the buyer's: couriers for everything, instant riders for nearby addresses only, or riders nearby and couriers for everyone farther away. See same-day delivery for online stores.
Shiprocket or NimbusPost — which should I connect?
Both are courier aggregators that reach most Indian PIN codes through the same big courier networks, and what you pay depends on your account and the routes you ship most — not on a headline "starting at" price. The fair test is your own lanes: price five or six of your most common PIN codes in each partner's rate calculator.
You don't have to pick one. Connect both and Storzu compares them on every order at checkout, and shows couriers from both when you book. The practical differences:
- Shiprocket also brings Shiprocket Quick riders for same-day delivery nearby, through the same connection. See connecting Shiprocket.
- NimbusPost connects with an API key instead of a login, and Storzu sets up its tracking updates for you. Its rates are shown with GST, so the price you see is what your wallet pays.
How do I connect NimbusPost, step by step?
- Get NimbusPost ready. Sign up and finish KYC, add your pickup address as a warehouse, and keep some balance in your NimbusPost wallet.
- Create an API key. Open Settings → API Keys, create a key with the Admin role (the default read-only role can't book couriers), and leave the IP allowlist empty. Copy the key ID and the secret — the secret is shown only once.
- Connect it in Storzu. In Shipping & delivery partners, paste the key ID (it starts with npk_) and the secret, then choose the warehouse couriers collect from. Tracking updates switch on by themselves.
- Book from your orders. NimbusPost couriers appear next to any other partner's, with their prices and delivery dates. One tap books the courier and the pickup; the label prints from the order.
Who pays, and does Storzu take a cut?
Courier charges are paid from your own Shiprocket or NimbusPost wallet, rider charges from your own Borzo account, and the partner remits COD cash straight to you. Storzu never collects, holds or marks up shipping money. If you add a packing charge on top of the live rate, that difference is yours. Payments for the goods themselves stay just as direct — see accepting UPI payments with no commission.
What if my courier isn't one of these?
Keep using it. Mark the order Shipped, and the Shipping details step asks for the courier's name and the AWB or tracking link — India Post, DTDC, a local courier or your own delivery boy all work. The customer gets the shipped update and the tracking link. A connected partner only adds what a manual courier can't: the PIN check and real charge at checkout, one-tap booking, and tracking that updates itself.
