Most small sellers think a professional-looking store needs a designer or an agency website. It does not. What it needs is a design made for your kind of business, good photos, and an honest look at it on a phone. Storzu gives every online store all 10 of its designs, and lets you see your own store in each one before anything goes live.
How do I make my store look professional without a designer?
- Pick a design to start from. Open the live demo store closest to your business at storzu.com/demo, or open Design Store, which starts on a gallery of styles for your kind of business.
- Preview it on your own store. Tap a style and your store is redrawn in it, with your words and photos kept.
- Apply, or undo. Nothing goes live until you tap Apply, and Undo brings the previous style back.
- Fine-tune colours, fonts and motion, and switch off any section you do not need.
- Check it on a phone, the way a customer opens it from WhatsApp.
Would you rather describe it in words? Design with AI builds a whole style from a sentence (more below). Whichever route you take, every online store gets all 10 store designs, and each is a complete look with its own layout, hero, fonts, colours and motion, not just a different accent colour.
What are the 10 Storzu store designs?
Here is how each one looks, the kinds of store it suits, and which of our live demo stores uses it:
| Design | Look and feel | Good fit for | Demo store in it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Clean | White and full-width, photo-led hero, story-circle categories | D2C brands, home appliances, rentals | Home appliances; self-drive rental |
| Bold | Black header, running announcement, cinematic hero, square uppercase cards | Streetwear, sneakers, restaurants | Restaurant & cloud kitchen |
| Luxe | Centred serif masthead, wide hero, hairlines, generous space | Jewellery, sarees, premium gifting, stays | Bookshop & café; farm stay |
| Quick | Search always open, offer banner, dense shelves with ADD buttons | Grocery, kirana, daily needs, big catalogues | Neighbourhood grocery |
| Editorial Magazine | Big serif type, numbered sections, a cover-story tile | Fashion labels, designers, travel | Fashion boutique; travel agency |
| Neo-Brutal | Thick outlines, hard shadows, bright colour blocks | Gift and fancy stores, youth brands, merch | Fancy & gift store |
| Soft Glass | Frosted panels over a slow, glowing aurora | Stationery, beauty products, accessories | Stationery & art supplies |
| Retro Pop | Chunky rounded shapes, sticker badges, candy colours | Bakeries, sweets, toys, kids | Bakery & cakes |

| Dark Tech | Black page, neon edge glow, monospace labels, spec-first cards | Electronics, mobile accessories, gaming | Gadgets & electronics |
Does the page layout change too, or only the colours?
The layout changes. Each design builds a different page structure for each kind of store: a food store is menu-first, an electronics store is spec-first, and a fashion store reads like a lookbook. So a bakery in Bold and a phone shop in Bold do not look like the same page with different photos. Each is laid out the way its customers actually shop.
Can I see a design on my own store before it goes live?
Yes. That is what Quick Styles are for. Design Store opens on a gallery of styles for your kind of business. Tap one and you see your own store, with your products, words and photos, redrawn in that style. Nothing goes live until you tap Apply, and if you change your mind afterwards, Undo brings the previous style back.
Where can I see real examples first?
At storzu.com/demo there are 21 live demo stores and websites, from a bakery and a neighbourhood grocery to a fashion boutique, an electronics shop and a farm stay. Open the one closest to your business and use it the way a customer would. When you like one, tap Use this design: if you are new, your store starts in that design; if you are already signed in, you see a preview of your own store in it first.
Can AI design my store for me?
Yes. With Design with AI, you describe the feel you want, for example "calm and premium, like a handloom label" or "loud and fun for a Gen Z merch store". The AI builds a whole style from that: a colour scheme (palette, your brand colour and coloured sections), the look, the hero, fonts, motion, section headings and your about text. You preview it on your store first, then Apply, with Undo afterwards.
It never invents facts. It does not write prices, offers, delivery promises, reviews or policies, so it will not put a promise on your store that you did not make. Read the headings and about text it suggests before you apply, so they sound like you.
How do I fine-tune the details?
The Design Studio works on the live store. You tap any part of it to edit that part, instead of hunting through settings:
- Drag and drop sections on the live page, and switch any section on or off.
- Add new sections: testimonials, Instagram, video, countdown, lookbook, marquee and quick filters.
- Give each section its own colours.
- Choose modern hero styles, scroll animations (Subtle by default, Expressive, or Off) and page graphics such as grain, mesh, dots, grid or aurora, plus an optional home intro.
- Pick from 24 heading fonts, all self-hosted.
Animations respect the visitor's phone: someone who has asked their device for reduced motion is not shown the movement.
How do I pick the right design for my business?
- Match how your customers shop. Food buyers scan a menu and add fast. Grocery buyers search and want quick-add shelves, which is what Quick is built for. Fashion buyers want big photos. Electronics buyers compare specs. See our guides for fashion, restaurants and electronics.
- Match your photos. Products shot on white suit Clean and Quick. Moody lifestyle shots suit Luxe and Editorial Magazine. Bright, colourful products suit Retro Pop and Neo-Brutal.
- Match your price point. Quiet designs like Luxe say premium; loud ones like Bold and Neo-Brutal say young and playful. Compare three on your own store rather than guessing from a thumbnail.
What matters more than the design?
- Photos. Consistent backgrounds, daylight and the same shape for every product photo do more than any design. Our AI product photography guide shows how to get there from a phone photo.
- Speed on mobile data. Use a few strong photos rather than many heavy ones, keep animations on Subtle unless your brand needs more, and switch off sections that do not earn their place.
- Clear words on a phone. Most Indian customers open a store link from WhatsApp on a phone, so plain product names, visible prices and a delivery line there build more trust than any decoration.
What can't the designs do?
- Storzu is not a code-level theme editor. There is no custom CSS or HTML. You design with the looks, sections and controls described above.
- The 10 store designs are made for online stores. Clinics, professional practices and many service businesses use page designs made for their kind of work instead. The demo gallery shows both.
- Applying a design lays your home page out in that design's structure. Your words and photos come along, and Undo restores the old layout. Prices, offers and policies are always yours to add; no design or AI writes them.
What to do next
Open two or three demo stores for your kind of business and note what you like. Then create your free Storzu store, add a few products with good photos, and try the designs on your own store before you apply one. Once it looks right, give customers a reason to come back with offers, loyalty points and referrals.
