Content Rights & Display Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies whenever a vendor ("you") adds links to social-media content — including but not limited to Instagram posts, Instagram reels, YouTube videos, and YouTube channels — to a Storzu storefront. It governs how Storzu fetches, displays, and proxies preview content associated with those links, and what you confirm by adding them.

2. What Storzu displays from your links

When you add a social-media link, Storzu may, on your behalf:

• Fetch a preview thumbnail imagefrom the source platform's public embed metadata and display it on your storefront, with attribution and a click-through link to the original post or channel.
• Render the platform's official embed(e.g. Instagram'sembed.jsblockquote, or YouTube's /embed/ iframe) so that visitors can play the content inline through the platform itself.
• Cache the preview thumbnail on Storzu's servers for short periods (typically up to 24 hours) and proxy image bytes through Storzu's domain when the source CDN blocks cross-origin hot-linking. This proxying does not modify the image and is solely for display reliability.
• Resolve channel-handle URLs (e.g. youtube.com/@handle) to a stable channel identifier in order to render the channel's official uploads playlist.

3. What Storzu does not do

• Storzu does not download, store, or redistribute video files.
• Storzu does not modify, re-edit, or watermark the original content. Playback always happens through the source platform's own player.
• Storzu does not claim ownership of any thumbnail, post, video, or channel that originated on a third-party platform.
• Storzu does not bypass authentication, age gates, or any other access controls set by the source platform.

4. Your representations

By adding a social-media link to your storefront, you represent and warrant that:

• You have the necessary rights. You either own the content the link points to, or you have the explicit permission of the rights-holder to share and display it publicly through your Storzu storefront.
• The content is public. The content is publicly accessible on the source platform without authentication, and is not behind a private account, age gate, paid subscription, or content restriction.
• Platform compliance.The content complies with the source platform's terms of service (e.g. the Instagram Terms of Use and YouTube Terms of Service).
• Lawful content.The content does not infringe any third party's copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other rights, and does not violate applicable law.
• No deceptive use. You will not use the link feature to misrepresent sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation with any person or brand whose content you do not have rights to display.

5. Limited license you grant to Storzu

You grant Storzu a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable license to fetch, cache, proxy, and display preview thumbnails and official embeds derived from the links you have added, solely for the purpose of operating your storefront on Storzu and related services (e.g. transactional emails, social-share previews of your storefront). This license terminates when you remove the link from your dashboard, subject to the short cache window described in Section 2.

6. Removal and cache

You can remove any link at any time from the relevant section of your dashboard (Customize → Social Media, or any product's media-links section). Once removed:

• The link will stop appearing on your storefront on the next page render.
• Cached thumbnail images on Storzu's servers and CDN are typically purged within 24 hours; cache held by visitors' browsers may persist longer and is governed by their own browser cache settings.
• If you need an immediate purge for a legal reason (e.g. an urgent takedown), contact legal@storzu.com.

7. Third-party platforms

The actual playback of embedded content is delivered by the source platform (Instagram, YouTube, etc.) through their own embed code. Your visitors' interaction with that embed — including any cookies, telemetry, autoplay behaviour, or terms of service — is governed by that platform, not by Storzu. Storzu has no control over and accepts no responsibility for the availability, behaviour, or content served by the embed.

8. Takedown by rights-holders

If you are a rights-holder and believe a Storzu storefront is displaying a preview of content you own without authorization, please follow the procedure in our DMCA / Takedown Policy. We will respond promptly to valid notices and disable the offending link.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Storzu, its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) any link you have added to your storefront; (b) the content the link points to; (c) any breach of the representations in Section 4; or (d) any allegation by a third party (including a source platform or a rights-holder) that the content you authorized for display violated their rights.

10. Disclaimers

The link-display feature is provided "as-is" and "as-available." Storzu does not guarantee that previews will load, that thumbnails will remain accurate, or that embeds will play. Source platforms may change their embed APIs, block requests, expire signed image URLs, or remove the underlying content at any time, and Storzu has no obligation to maintain workarounds.

11. Changes to this policy

Storzu may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the dashboard or by email at least seven (7) days before they take effect. Your continued use of the link-display feature after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

12. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising under it is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana, India, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
