1. Overview

Storzu respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our Vendors to do the same. As a technology platform provider, Storzu hosts websites created by independent Vendors. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with applicable laws, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000.

2. Filing a Copyright Complaint

If you believe that content hosted on a Storzu vendor website infringes your copyright, please submit a notice containing the following information:

  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
  • The URL(s) of the infringing content on the vendor website
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner
  • Your physical or electronic signature

3. Designated Agent

Send copyright notices to our designated agent:

Email: dmca@storzu.com

4. How We Handle Notices

Upon receiving a valid copyright notice, Storzu will:

  • Acknowledge receipt of the notice
  • Review the complaint for completeness and validity
  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content
  • Notify the Vendor whose content was removed
  • Provide the Vendor an opportunity to submit a counter-notification

5. Counter-Notification

If you are a Vendor and believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification containing:

  • Your name, address, and telephone number
  • Identification of the content that was removed and its location before removal
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed by mistake or misidentification
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant and restore the content within 10-14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.

6. Repeat Infringer Policy

Storzu maintains a policy of terminating the accounts of Vendors who are repeat infringers. A Vendor who receives three or more valid copyright complaints may have their account permanently terminated without prior notice.

7. Good Faith

Filing a false copyright notice may result in legal liability. Before filing, please consider whether the use may be permitted under fair use or other legal doctrines. Storzu reserves the right to disregard notices that appear to be fraudulent or filed in bad faith.
